First, what even is "rape"? The very first laws on rape state:

Rape is a man committing a crime against another man, by violating his woman's (wife or daughter) chastity

Rape can also be a crime against the father, if you "steal" his daughter's virginity without his consent

Throughout all civilized societies in history we find rape is only either a crime against a husband (violating his wife), or a father (in regard to his daughter's virginity)
