1/🧵 8 years ago today I was medically retired from the US Army. After 5 years and 2 deployments I always thought I’d stay in the Army until someone told me I was too old. After sustaining a TBI, injured shoulder, back, and knees I felt like a lot was taken from me.👇 2/🧵They say the 2 most important times in life are when you’re born & when you figure out why. I spent many years wondering what my why was. I often felt alone and had nobody to talk to. I bottled everything up and let my past become my burden. 👇
