I mentioned in that thread that, due this release being in DVD9, which has twice as much space as DVD5, that means the video has no compression.

This is not exactly true.

Specifically about the Millcreek DVD box set that released last year.

Because I finally took a deep dive into it and boy oh boy, did I find some interesting stuff.

/Extreme Video talk thread First some context, because as all things Tiga this story is complicated.

A few years ago Milcreek obtained the license to release all things Ultraman from Tsuburaya.

This resulted in some high quality BD box sets of the original series.

Fans were super happy.

It's been a week since I finished it, so time to share my thoughts on #Kirameiger, whether you want it or not.

TL;DR This is why Super Sentai is good. It should be obvious by now that I love this show, but I will be the first to admit that it is not an extraordinary series by any means.

Like, you can make the case that Lupato and Ryusoulger tried a lot hard to be unique or push the boundaries of what Sentai can be.
