This is a great piece by @JNBPage on the questions surrounding the possibility of a lab-leak, and his attempt to get to the Tongguan mine – a location at the centre of the whole controversy.

It’s not our news that’s fake. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian @zlj517 has got this wrong. The Chinese Foreign Ministry is accusing the BBC of taking footage of an “anti-terrorism exercise” and using it to falsely portray China’s lock-down enforcement in a bad light.
