Y'day, I was on a call with a business associate who is based out of Switzerland.

Having received his dose of Moderna that day, he said- "we are fortunate to have access to vaccines in here...considering the "state" in India; people are not getting vaccines, suffering..." On 16th Aug, India did 9.3 million doses. 21st June: ~9.2 million doses.

Switzerland's population: ~8.7 million.

Avg vaccinations in Aug in India: 5M doses/day.

In one day, Bharat has administered more doses than their entire population. On multiple days.
