….As a female constituent who had recently campaigned for Cook to stand as a labour MP and wanted to hear from all sides on what was a new and not well understood issue I was surprised to be immediately blocked on Twitter .

It’s an uncomfortable truth for the TRA. I watched you do this to women, tag teaming and pile ons, stalking on line , slandering, report us to employers and professional associations, brand us hateful in the press and media and you did it unchallenged and uncaring of women.
Only your ideological beliefs mattered. Not that it hurt us deeply to see you erase what ‘women’ meant to us. Erase our shared language. Erase rights we had struggled for and didn’t even bother to ask us if we minded giving up because in your eyes our opinions didn’t matter
