🧵 Wow.

Maybe this is an emotional response to a player I like leaving the football club, but this absolutely fucking stinks.

We can wonder: "Perhaps there's a good replacement lined up." And whether there is, or there isn't, it still stinks. Selling Andre Brooks... ...to a divisional rival, and a club without parachute payments, is one of the most brain-dead bits of business I can remember.

Sure, if a West Ham came in, or a top-flight club, we would take the money. But even in that scenario, I would disagree strongly with anyone...

They always missed the point.

It was never about Heckingbottom or Wilder. (1/12) It’s not even about attacking or defending the ownership. The truth is that it never had to be this way.
