So many christian leaders I know are far too binary in their approach to culture. Either a cultural fad is the greatest, or it's dumb.

Take Marie Kondo for example. Of course the joy matrix is taken to far and also undershirts don't have souls. BUT what Kondo does contribute is a check to our disposable and careless way of life. Her approach forces you to treat your possessions (over which we are stewards) with intentionality rather than carelessness.
