This course will scrutinize the extent of and leverage of Foundations’ involvement in the delivery of national development programs, their collaboration and partnership models with government and other development providers.
Why are Luxembourg and Switzerland, two small, landlocked countries with virtually no natural resources other than their people and neighbours, achieving remarkable rates of growth and are among the richest economies in the world? 
Governments which have mastered collaboration with the private sector are also more effective in the delivery of sound policies, strong and dynamic institutions and the right priorities of public investments to provide critical infrastructure and skilled people for development.
Political Parties are very large groups of individuals with a set of shared interests attempting to influence the political process, elections, policy outcomes, etc. A political party is a group of people who come together to contest elections and hold power in the government.
Resources are finite and so, failure to make informed decisions can severely constrain the capacity of governments at all levels to successfully deliver good and targeted outcomes. 
This course will look into the history of Nigeria's "federalism", inherent gaps in the current federal system, existing proposals for redesigns through National Conferences and regional agitations.
