I'm proud to say that @The_Absence_SOL will be a project that a community can truly come together to not only create, but to also bring value to via their own pride in what they as a community have accomplished over time.

The goal truly is to have this be an "Experience". That is why we have designed the project such that not only do the individuals that take part in the creation of the collection get uniquely and individually rewarded, but the collectors and DAO do as well with ALL royalties from ALL secondary sales going to the community.

What is "The Absence Experience"? A 🧵

TAE is an NFT project based on Solana. Set in a dystopian time when all originality, creativity, and beauty have been seemingly drained from the collective conscience of the world, The Absence Collective is formed to fight back The Absence. How does the project work?

TAE has been designed to reward participants of the project. Firstly, the NFT for this project is known as a "Desecrated Canvas", and ALL Desecrated Canvas are the same. There is no rarity in this collection and there are no traits. That being said...

The "Flipped" @DegenApeAcademy project being posted about is exactly why TAE was created.

Not because we are against derivatives...

(which this is not, this is a blatant copy)...

But because we love creativity, originality, and things that are genuinely "one of a kind". It seems like every day now we are flooded with the regurgitation of "successful projects" through "derivatives" simply because the "formula" worked.

Now, don't get me wrong... I have NOTHING wrong with a good derivative project that is ACTUALLY a derivative verses a copy cat...
