Reminder that the duel at the start of episode 1 where Suletta nearly got hit was mid-class because Guel said some other random student had "laughed" at him over Miorine trying to run away.

His proposal was also entirely him acting on selfish pride, hoping to win something.

It's really fucked up how the students seemingly don't think that Miorine having her autonomy stripped and being turned into a trophy to be won by the elite makes her a victim. It's like they think she deserves or wants that role. Yes, she is Spacian and the heir to the corporate big chair, but let's be real, her dad isn't planning on letting her be in charge, that's what the entire duel trophy thing is for. But everyone we've seen apart from Suletta just seem to not even consider Miorine's situation.
