the primary story on Vox right now is Ian Millhiser's piece claiming that the legal theory behind the Trump indictment is "dubious." But Ian's only basis for that is research from an unnamed law firm that, from what I can gather, Ian hasn't even read the argument here is that the word "crimes" in the relevant law does not include federal crimes. that is a pretty wild claim, but the piece doesn't even try to explain the reasoning behind it
