we should stop propping up the housing market to benefit Boomers at the expense of the young. This is honestly bullshit to inject another $200 billion in mortgage bonds into the housing market to prevent a correction. $200 billion could be given to young families with FHA loans. I think it's a serious mistake to mock the Midwit losers who entered a tournament economy and had their lives shredded. Two things everyone should understand in American politics, which they don't:

I think Trump has been playing softball with business leaders to bring in $20 trillion in investment. The logic was Trump didn't want to crash the economy during reindustrialization. Business leaders have misinterpreted this as weakness, and a signal to fuck over Trump's base. Democrats currently control ~97% of government, academia, Hollywood, Wall Street, public schools, other elite institutions. They've never faced a real opponent. If we get to fairness, 50-50 split, the result will be 47% of elite positions given to their enemies.
