A giant amongst action filmmaking RINGO LAM has died.
This sucks , if you have not seen City on Fire or Full Contact , the latter being an easy top Chow Yun Fat flick for me.
Do yourself a favor and honor this underrated man on fire. John Woo, long touted as the Godfather of Hongkong hardboiled cinema, but its RINGO LAM (RIP) ( &to some extent Tsui Hark) who delivers the Full tilt boogie bravado & sleaze all delivered with gusto in Full Contact.
