Britain has enough ammunition to fight for eight days.

That’s it. After years of relying on the US to hold the war stocks we’d need in a major conflict, we now have almost nothing left. 1/5 British guns firing in an exercise. It’s been an open secret in defence for years. It lasted because war felt distant. It doesn’t anymore. 2/5 Russian and Chinese troops working together.

Countries have been at war with Britain for a decade.
We’ve contained the danger, but that’s becoming harder, and the reality of what we face still isn’t widely understood. Map of Europe and North Africa with conflict areas darkened. There’s a growing gap between what’s discussed inside government, the security services and the military, and what’s spoken about in public, even as the consequences of those private conversations edge out of the shadows and into our daily lives. 1/ The UK could be about to become the only G7 nation unable to produce virgin steel.

Not recycled scrap — real, primary steel made from iron ore.

That’s not just industrial decline. It’s a strategic threat.🧵 Image 2/ Without the ability to make virgin steel, we lose control over sovereign defence, critical infrastructure, and advanced engineering.

This isn’t just economic.

It’s a national security blind spot — one no other G7 country tolerates. Image

Over the last few months we’ve seen the complete collapse of Tehran’s strategy for control in the Middle East.

From their support for Hamas and Hezbollah to threaten Israel, to their puppet state in Syria, the Iranian regime has controlled territory and terror for decades. 1/ But the regime has never had popular support. Violence and intimidation were the only way its empire could be sustained.

Amongst Palestinians, murder was used daily to keep Hamas in charge. Thousands were killed to keep control and aid stolen to enrich their leaders. 2/

Keir Starmer has proved he cannot be trusted on national security.

That’s a serious problem. The world is more dangerous now than I've ever known it.

Here are some facts about Labour that Sir Keir doesn’t want you to know.

🧵👇 Just two years ago, Labour MPs were coming out the woodwork to support ‘Stop The War’.

STW called for resistance ‘by whatever means’ against British troops overseas.

Corbyn founded and chaired STW. And Keir Starmer tried to put him in power. Twice. Image
