Just heard about the Kirkuk disaster, my God. 13 members of Federal Police Special Forces gone just like that. 1 of them was an orphan all his life and a veteran in the war against ISIS.

Bloodiest weekend I can recall, 4 from Iraq Army in Kirkuk also KIA. 4 of the Federal Police were killed when ISIS attacked their checkpoint, another 6 died in an IED blast during the reinforcement call, and the rest died after the FedPol got into a situation with low ammunition. Talks that communication lines were down during initial assault.

I'm actually compiling a list and trying to acquire logos, but this is about to be one very long thread. First of all, I won't go into full detail about the main combat brigades with numbered units or the Tribal PMF. Usually every Brigade has about 3-5 battalions and a Special Missions Platoon as well as Engineering. Other units are so big they have their own Armor.

The hit point at the very bottom is in the Iraqi section of Al-Assad near the Su-25 tarmac. Don't misunderstand: I'm not saying an Iraqi aircraft was potentially hit. The images showed mainly the rotary wing and part of the UAV storage. No idea what Coalition fixed-wing units are active in Al-Assad besides Logistics.
