Just heard about the Kirkuk disaster, my God. 13 members of Federal Police Special Forces gone just like that. 1 of them was an orphan all his life and a veteran in the war against ISIS.
Bloodiest weekend I can recall, 4 from Iraq Army in Kirkuk also KIA.
4 of the Federal Police were killed when ISIS attacked their checkpoint, another 6 died in an IED blast during the reinforcement call, and the rest died after the FedPol got into a situation with low ammunition. Talks that communication lines were down during initial assault.

First of all, I won't go into full detail about the main combat brigades with numbered units or the Tribal PMF. Usually every Brigade has about 3-5 battalions and a Special Missions Platoon as well as Engineering. Other units are so big they have their own Armor.
