We have previously talked about Ilhan's support for Ukraine's survival. But we cannot break more with Ilhan on sanctioning Russia.
Sanctions work at undermining wars. Trump removing sanctions on Russia to carry out his war with Iran helped drag out this war. No money, no war. Russian energy giants like Gazprom and Rosneft are the main funders of drones, missiles, bombs, and every other weapon of war smashing into Ukrainian homes. These companies even fund their own mercenary outfits. Why protect the profit margins of companies that finance invasion?
