JUDGMENT: SIU and Transnet SOC Ltd v Zakhele Ezekiel Thabo Lebelo and Others (GP06/2022)
Former Transnet Group Executive for Properties' R1, 8 million retirement benefits have been interdicted and a Curator Bonis is appointed to manage his several Rosebank properties.
In judgment delivered on Monday afternoon, the Special Tribunal found that Lebelo and Phathutshedzo Brighton Mashamba connived for the disgorgement of secret profits they earned from Superfecta Trading 209 CC - a supplier to Transnet Properties and BBDM Bros Advertising Agency.
