Because the UK Government would certainly impose direct rule and order the Scottish police enforce what they perceive as the law. @Glasgows_girl @meljomur @MartinJKeatings 2/9 Thus UDI inevitably comes down to where the military stands as it is the UK Gov. who commands the Scottish regiments of the British Army. The only way UDI might work would be if the Scottish commanders walked into Bute House and offered their allegiance to the Scottish Gov.

1/9 I was just listening to Iain Dale's interview with David Starkey, whom I would title a hilariously hysterical English Nationalist.
