Quite the opposite.

Since I do not want America intervening across the world and sending our young men to die for, frankly, nothing, I want to oppose what it actually does.

Accusing it of “conquering Europe” is one of the few things it hasn’t done. It’s unconvincing. It’s doubly unconvinced to accuse me of “covering” for American foreign intervention, considering I’ve spent a great deal of time criticizing it, writing against it, and generally opposing it. It’s a position I was raised with, and it’s not something I’ve ever discarded.

On January 21st, I wrote a Twitter thread outlining issues that I and others had with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod's new edition of Luther's Large Catechism. After it was pulled and later re-released and reaffirmed, a lot has changed for me.

So, what has happened? The original thread is attached. A great number of laymen and pastors wrote their concerns to the President of the LCMS, Matthew Harrison, and the book was pulled. Nine days later, everything was reaffirmed.

Now that @RadicalLib and I have wrapped up our series on Left Wing terror, I figure a brief recap would be in order. We particularly covered instances of Left Wing terror which have been brushed under the rug. First, we started with Rothbard's history of the Munster rebellion, a violent, insane, messianic project in Proto-Communism in the 1530s.

Money was abolished. Monogamy was abolished. Hierarchy, except for the great prophet at the top, was abolished. All until the city fell.

For anyone else sharing this concern, that the disputes surrounding the New Catechism “look bad”, maybe don’t issue and defend a catechism which denies self-defense and calls pedophilia a speck in your neighbors eye. Image Oh, yeah, it was all just taken out of context. Of course, of course…

Just one question. Why have none of these defenders refuted the concerns with the context? If it’s that simple, where is it? Image

The ultimate conservative has appeared.

“No, of course I won’t conserve the integrity of a people or a nation or even the older, unfashionable institutions. I’m too busy conserving the institutions that have been captured by the Left.” Guy has the temerity to say that these “young angry men on the far right” would “revive” the French Revolution.

He’s giving himself away. For the last 80 or so years, the world has been totally, entirely captured by the ideals of that Revolution. You’re living in its world.

The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod just put out a new edition of Luther’s Large Catechism, one of the main books used to teach people about Christianity and what it means to be a Christian.

So, what got added? (Not in any particular order)

First we have the LCMS, speaking for conservative Lutherans, entirely denying self defense and bearing arms being moral.

For anyone that hasn’t seen, I’ll just show some excerpts from the LCMS’s youth gathering being held this week This has variants for both adults and youth, where they will supposedly be discussing “LGBTQ+” and “cisgender straight people”

You know, those biblical categories
