#WorldKidneyDay focuses on the importance of kidneys and reducing the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.

It's also a time for us to highlight the need for kidney transplants, as well as UAB's role. As you can see from this infographic, a significant number of patients are currently on a waiting list. The need is vast. But there is hope.
