We had 7 candidates #StandingForFreedom in the #LocalElections2024: in Calderdale (Warley); Cambridge (Petersfield); Cheltenham (Leckhampton); Crawley (Tilgate); Dudley (Wollaston & Stourbridge Town); Sefton (Netherton & Orell; Sudell). All faced various challenges, as did we 1/9 We were delayed by needless bureaucracy from the Electoral Commission only resolved by the threat of legal action; publicly misrepresented as defunct by someone whose own campaign we support; disparaged for opposing *any* UK support of foreign conflict, and for seeking votes! 2/9
