Today, @POTUS announced a policy plan aimed at helping people with and without degrees struggling with student loan debt. I wanted to share some insights on the relationship between student debt and worker job choices. A 2019 study of a court-ordered student debt cancellation found that relief improved workers’ mobility — allowing them to move to another state for better job opportunities and improve their income. cepr.org/voxeu/columns/… -JG
