Today, the United States sanctioned ten individuals and one entity connected to the Iranian regime’s brutal suppression of protests. These actions highlight our close coordination with our UK and EU partners, who also announced sanctions against Iranian targets today. 🧵 1/12 Among today’s targets, we sanctioned IRGC general Mohammad Nazar Azimi and his deputy, Kourosh Asiabani. Together, they oversaw the IRGC’s bloody crackdown in Kermanshah province in Western Iran, particularly in the city of Javanrud. 2/12
