APC (2 factions, as they claim) held 2 parallel primaries in Imo State in 2019, to nominate a Gubernatorial Candidate for the General Elections.

APC (1st faction) nominated Uche Nwosu as its candidate.

APC (2nd faction) also nominated Sen. Hope Uzodinma as its candidate.

1 While Nwosu and Uzodinma were battling to resolve the propriety or otherwise of their candidature of APC, Nwosu also secured the nomination of AA (Action Alliance) as its Gubernatorial Candidate in the same election.

@DavidHundeyin, to put the issue of bad road(s) in Okigwe LGA in proper context:
1. Imo State has 27 LGAs, divided into 3 Senatorial Zones;

2. Orlu (12 LGAs), Orlu (9 LGAs) & Okigwe (6 LGAs);

3. Okigwe LGA is the HQs of Okigwe Zone;

1 4. The ROAD (let's discuss the "lockdown-violation-incident" in a separate tweet) in the attached video is "Owerri Road," the major road in Okigwe LGA.
Like, you cannot go anywhere within or through Okigwe LGA without plying Owerri Road.

A wise man once said: "when an outsider is eager to help you kill your brother (or sister) who you deem as your enemy and you fail to realize that he (the outsider) is worse your enemy than your brother, know that what you have above your shoulders is not head but a buttock."

1 Because, an outsider who is a genuine friend will push you towards reconciling with your brother.
Rarely do we, Africans, apply this wisdom, which explains the success stories of foreign-sponsored coups, violence and conflicts in Africa.

CREATION OF ABIA STATE
ABIA State was finally created on August 27, 1991, by Gen. Ibrahim Babangida.
It was created out of the present IMO State.
The name "ABIA" is an acronym formed from the initial letters of four groups of people, namely: Aba, Bende, lsuikwuato and Afikpo.

1 These constituted the major groups in the State at its creation.
Several meetings were held under the auspices of "ABIA STATE MOVEMENT," to discuss the ABIA project.
