I believe Tori himself had doubts about the role so we worked together to create the role. For that reason, I feel a strong emotional attachment to him. Whenever we pass by each other at film festivals, he'd smile at me with a broad smile on his face. It makes me happy.
Tori: This may sound obvious, but I think it is important to do these obvious things repeatedly in order to communicate without misunderstanding.

Umm okay... but just okay. I think plot is too simple. Wanted more nordic mythology. Script and accents annoy me so much. Some characters talks with accent one line and without another line.
Suzu: I cried the most in the scene where Sarasa eats ice cream silently after telling Fumi why she doesn't want to go home. It wasn't about being nice or anything like that, it was about Fumi not rejecting her, not ignoring her, not approaching her, but just being there. 
Q: I feel that a cautious and sincere attitude is important to understand and respect others.

Tori: As we get older, there are fewer opportunities to go into a demanding environment where we are exposed to pressure and distress. I think we all want to go in and follow the success stories as examples. That way, we feel safer and have a better idea of what to expect.
I had never played a role this demanding before, and I had never spent so much time worrying about it and searching so deeply into my mind.
Tori: Loneliness is something that everyone carries throughout our life and cannot be shared with others. However, it is a part of who we are, and I don't think it is necessarily a negative thing. It is because of loneliness that we can feel the happiness of being with someone.
