A pair of Colorado Senators share a birthday today: Gary Hart and Michael Bennet! To celebrate, let's take a look at a few of their elections to the US Senate! Let's start off in 1980 with Gary Hart. Despite Reagan winning the state by over 20 points, Gary Hart managed to hold on and win re-election against state Secretary of State Mary Buchanan.

Hart would attempt to run against Reagan in 84, but came short in the primaries.
