In my opinion, we have mass shootings because we have poor living and working conditions (especially undignified treatment of workers), a hyper-individualistic, selfish, and cruel culture, and rampant ideologies that reductively and ferociously blame powerless groups (1)
for problems that do and don't exist. All of those things have been propagated by both Democrats and Republicans. From McKinley to Kennedy to Reagan, the Clintons, the Bushes and Trump, they're all oligarchs that twisted our society and culture into the violent, demented (2)
