These days I’m realizing again why I feel it is so important that I’m playing this “influencing game” (= being vocal as a collector). Social media is exhausting & frustrating if you give yourself in too much but it’s the reality of most of the artists here that have to do it 1/8 so they automatically get in contact with the most vocal accounts which often aren’t the ones that building the culture from the start with good values but bad actors taking advantage of the hopes and dreams of artists. I can understand if collectors have better 2/8

My opinion about “collectors with bad taste” and “artworks as NFTs are mostly ugly jpegs” 👇 People complaining about collectors not having the eye and taste for good high quality art in web3 at this point are overseeing the importance of exactly that. We need brave crypto native kind of degen art collectors that get this thing going, that keep this space alive (1/10)

The art of understanding toxic positivity in the NFT art space 👇 We all know what positivity and negativity is. And most are aware of the harmful effects of extreme negativity but only a few are realizing that extreme positivity also can be very harmful to a persons mental health. (1/15)

I’m happy we start to have a conversation about a healthy relationship between artist and collector. What can’t happen is to get offended by everything a collector is saying about what they think are useful advices for artist. Typical MISTAKES new (smaller) photographer in the NFT space are making and what I’m suggesting 👇 the biggest mistake is that they mint a random collection too fast. I see this so often. Take your time and consult other photographers. Always remember this will be forever your first collection here! You need it to be well curated. (1/11)
