S:F456L part of Flip. It's on at least a dozen lineages including the much promoted EG.5.1*

Limited sequencing messes things up a lot but roughly doubling every 14 days or so.

Add in 30% Admissions Growth and 20% ZOE Case Growth (my guesses I can't be arsed to look them up) Image Week 188 is incomplete. But over the last 4 weeks it's at about 30% of all sequences.

It's NOT just about EG.5.1* its about F456L & the FLIP mutes.

But you have to ask, is it driving this wave and if so, why !!!
