Okay, a few things here. I will try and keep this spoiler free. If you have never seen the first one and just dropped in to see the second it’s probably like a 4/10.

I’m going to give it a 2/10 as this was completely terrible. Disjointed. Cringe. The pacing was beyond terrible. Let’s talk about the actors. Paul Mescal as Lucas was mid. But the scary thing is he may have been the best part of this travesty.

He’s just not an emotional actor. None of his big scenes had any feeling to them. I was never moved, scared, or worried. It was all monotonous.

“Says here Julius Caesar is responsible for over 1 million deaths during his campaign in Gaul.” Image “Oh absolutely. You know how those Roman’s were. Caesar led a very bloody campaign.” Image

We focus a lot on famous Romans which is important of course, but I've always been interested as well in the peoples and cultures of their enemies. So in this thread we will list the enemies of our great Empire. The Gaul's were the boogyemen of Rome for years after the sack of the city in 390 BC. Caesar would exorcise these demons in his Gallic campaigns.
