#Covid19 TESTING & RESULT

Exactly how long does it take to get tested for #Covid19 after putting a call through to @NCDCgov & how long does it take to get your result?

This question has become imperative because we are sitting on a ticking time bomb & it'll explode in our faces
Mr. A is a healthcare provider in a private hospital. A patient in the hospital was diagnosed to be positive for #Covid19 & this warranted testing for all staff in the facility.

Mr. A's sample was subsequently taken on the 3rd of April but bear in mind that he had been living
his normal life before the patient was diagnosed & before his sample was taken.

Mr. A is married. His wife, Mrs B is also a healthcare provider & continued going to work until the result of Mr. A came out positive on the 16th of April (13 days after the sample was taken)

A call

A few days after the counter attack led by President Idris Dēby that saw the capture of the arms store of Boko Haram & fleeing of the insurgents, their leader, Ibrahim Shekau in a viral video, has gone spiritual & is begging to be left alone

Is this the same Shekau terrorizing the @NigeriaGov , @HQNigerianArmy & the same group that ambuished & killed at least 50 Nigerian soldiers in March? aljazeera.com/news/2020/03/5…
Why then has Boko Haram continued to prey on the Nigerian military & citizens unhindered?

This morning we revisit the global pandemic #COVID19 & @NigeriaGov effort in it's fight against the spread of the disease

This comes as the WHO warns that Africa's window to contain the virus is narrowing

@Tutsy22
The number of cases have also risen as more tests are being carried out

It has also been learnt that flights are still landing in Nigeria despite the supposed ban on flights while the land & sea border are still porous

Before the imperialists interrupted traditional systems of govt, Kings reigned supreme & were next only to God.

Interruptions were not only done by imperialists, kingdoms invaded & dominated other kingdoms leading to wars, displacements, slavery

For Nigeria, the British Indirect Rule preserved traditional institutions but watered down their powers extensively, making them 'figure heads'.

The current reality is that an Oba, Kabiyesi, Obong, Sultan, Olu or Emir is entitled to ONE VOTE

The outcry against plans by @NigeriaGov @MBuhari to borrow in order to finance infrastructure underlines the need for citizens' engagement on national issues

If the request is granted by the lenders, we could keep servicing our Chinese loans till 2040
Interestingly, over a quarter of Nigeria’s N10.59 trillion 2020 budget (N2.7 trillion), goes into debt servicing, exceeding N2.4 trillion appropriated for capital expenditure
