bratz, how they RULED the 2000s. a thread: bratz were released in the early 00s — 2001 to be specific, and the first thing that brought my attention to them was the diversity. there were girls of different ethnicities and backgrounds: a white girl, a black girl, a brown girl & an asian girl. it made me excited!

michael corcoran, the writer of the victorious theme song, is dan schneider’s best friend. he met elizabeth gillies when she was 17/18 and they started dating in 2012 when she was 18/19 and he was 38/39 years old! they got married in 2020. elizabeth was groomed. there’s so many at nickelodeon besides dan schneider — even though he’s the MAIN one! — that need to be taken down along with him. this is simply unacceptable. too much was going on at nickelodeon studios.

everyone keeps bringing ariana grande for stan drama against jennette and idk why. let’s not forget, ariana is a victim herself from the creepiness of dan schneider. this is why she doesn’t talk about the role of cat valentine anymore. they sexualized and infantilized her. remember that episode of victorious and they were all locked in that rv? these scenes with cat all felt very uncomfortable too.

alexa nikolas (aka nicole from the first two seasons of zoey 101) always talked a while back on how nickelodeon tried to silence her about her experiences working on the show and with dan schneider. but wait, there’s more!

i just got done reading jennette mccurdy’s memoir. her mother emotionally, mentally, physically and sexually abused her. she was a narcissistic manipulator who gaslighted her daughter and lived life ferociously through her! treated her daughter more like an object. i am supporting jennette 100% and glad she’s come forward on the abuse she faced from both her mother and dan schneider. it takes a lot of strength to do that. i’m so glad that she’s in a better head space and working on bettering herself each day. she’s a survivor.

this is gonna make me look at victorious a bit differently too. in jennette mccurdy’s book, she talks of dan schneider constantly comparing the icarly cast and the victorious cast. the fact the victorious cast was always drunk and/or hungover bc he forced them to drink. dan schneider and the entire team at nickelodeon who allowed this needs to be jailed IMMEDIATELY! hoping jennette’s memoir causes more nickelodeon stars to come forward and speak out so we can get a full investigation done on this man.

dan schneider sure did make fun of britney spears with that ifix a popstar episode on icarly when she was going through her breakdown. this man is just AWFUL. it was jokes about her being a bad mother, she couldn’t sing, dance or have any talent they claimed, it was just a complete mess.
