Tinospora Cordifolia commonly called as Giloy herb is a vine widely found in India.

Giloy is also called Amritavalli. With Guna of Amritham, just leave a cut stem on roof with few leaves it survives for days even without being planted. When immunity is effected due to fever, Giloy water brings up blood platelets in no time, much faster than papaya leaves.

Acharya Chanakya always used to keep Giloy. He said:

गुरच औषधि सुखन में भोजन कहो प्रमान।
चक्षु इंद्रिय सब अंश में, शिर प्रधान भी जान॥
