For years, trans activist groups like Gendered Intelligence have disseminated guidance to schools which, in ignoring the protected characteristic of biological sex, have breached the 2010 Equality Act, compromising girls’ safety & privacy. I mentioned this today in @thetimes Image Here is GI’s guidance: the rights of a male-bodied trans identifying pupil to intimate female spaces must always be supported.
There is no acknowledgment the Equality Act clearly permits single sex exemptions + other laws mandate single sex changing for pupils over 11. Image

This is a terrible, in fact downright dangerous piece of US neoliberal feminism I’ve ever read. At the height of a national formula milk shortage this idiot is actively discouraging breastfeeding. Why? Because it’s not “free”. vox.com/the-highlight/… You need all this equipment & professional counsel just to do something women of all nations have done since the dawn of time! (Except obv we can’t say “women” or “mothers” because we must erase those beautiful universal terms & say “lactating parents”. I prefer “milk units”.🙄)

77 women have been killed with a man as main/only suspect since Sarah Everard six months ago. Sabina was just one. The killing of no other group but women is treated as “white noise“. Here’s another just this week.

Last year, the trans activist Helen Belcher claimed that that my journalism for The Times on gender issues had precipitated a wave of suicides of teenagers. Belcher said: “Since The Times started printing such pieces, starting with one by Turner in September 2017, I have heard of more trans suicides than at any point since 2012. These have mainly been of trans teenagers."
