Seeing Vivek Ramaswamy's rapid ascent in the polls and recent media coverage, I feel compelled to share some thoughts on why this frightens me so much.

I've met Vivek several times over the past decade and have known of him since my time as a Harvard undergrad. He's among the smartest, most articulate people I have ever encountered + willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his ends: the pursuit of power/fame, not meaningful change.

He combines the most backwards, Trumpian views with the skills to actually make it reality. Very scary
