I have spent 12 years of my life working to acquire degrees & treating. I am doing an Mch in pediatric Surgery. It's 45 degrees out here in Jaipur. On an average I work 12 to 16 hrs a day. There are bed bugs on the duty room and AC doesn't work. I wonder was it all worth ? It all seemed worth it till I saw the docs being beaten. I still love my job. Pediatric Surgery is extremely satisfying. But the threat of violence in public hospitals is real and the fear we face each time a child becomes sick is real. I intended to highlight that.
