The Kuki seperatist ideology or their demand for Zalengam (an independent Kuki-country) is not a recent dream.

The demand for a seperate "Kuki-State" was there since 1960.

The demand for an Independent Kuki-nation has been there since the late 1980s. P. S. Haokip in his book "Zalengam" clearly outlines the fact that this country will run in the name of Christ and shall provide "Lebensraum" or living space to "Kuki-Chin-Mizo" language speakers.

Demands for a seperate Christian country and the call to arms in the name of Christ has continued since the late 1980s. The World Kuki-Zo Intellectual Council's letter to Israel on June 30, demanding the balkanisation of Bharat had the same map.

Such a seperate "KukiLand" :

1) Acts as a Second Pakistan in our East blocking off our access to South-East Asia.
2) Allows the West to have a crown colony in a strategic location from where they can monitor both Bharat and China.
3) Takes away the crucial warm water port of Chottogram from Bangladesh.

Such seperatist demands will always enjoy international support. This "Zalengam" project of "Kuki-Chin-Mizo" language speakers have led to long-running insurgencies in Bharat, Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Documents obtained from armed "Kuki-Chin-Mizo" language-speakers have revealed their long term strategic planning to obtain Zalengam :

a) Mobilisation of Resources during 1980s : Build an intellectual class that will write artifacts and documents to justify the need, fabricating history as required.
Enter Public Services and attempt to manipulate the system.

b) Total Area Domination during 1990s : Conduct demographic warfare through illegal immigration in areas like ChuraChandpur, Chandel, Tengnoupal.
Establish dominance in the economic gateway of #Moreh.
Attempt to include other janajaatis under their political umbrella.
Establish relations with security forces and prove their usefulness as mercenaries against Naga and Kuki insurgents.

c) Grooming Millenial and Gen Z people : Spread hate-filled propaganda against groups opposing their intetests. Ensure that people hate the very idea of the kingdom of #Manipur or Manipur as a state.

Start creating an articifial "Kuki-Chin-Mizo" identity and intensify identity politics.

Intensify demographic engineering through discrimination and large-scale attacks on communities like the Tamils in 1995, Dimasa in 2003, Bru-Reangs from 1997 etc.

d) Zalengam Implementation 2010s : Take advantage of the Government's inability to enforce the Suspension of operations Agreement norms to build up firepower and give military training to people.

Ensure that politicians can win elections only with the help of terr0rist groups and village chiefs enjoying near autonomous powers.

Offer mercenary services across the Border to counter China's influence.

e) Engineer a conflict with the demand of a 'Seperate Administration' with foreign media already being present.

It is extremely dangerous to appease such people. Snakes in our backyard will bite us too. Strict military actions against such terrorists and the mentioned organisations in following parts as well as their sympathisers must be taken urgently.

Such a seperate country or state for "Kuki-Chin-Mizo" language speakers has been purely built on the grounds of hate and exclusion. Many of these claimed areas have sizeable population of "non-Kuki-Chin-Mizo" language speakers many of whom are non-Christian. Their very demands state categorically that their basic human rights will be suppressed.

1) Organisations like ITLF, CoTU has repeatedly supported the desecration of holy sites and temples in places like ChuraChandpur, Tengnoupal and Kangpokpi. They have repeatedly sent official notices as well as public statements rejecting the protected status of such sites.

2) Kuki intellectuals like P.S. Haokip as well as Mizo politicians like Julie Lalruatfeli (Mafeli) Hlawndo have repeatedly talked about creating a nation where they can freely worship Christ. The real issue is the free hand required for suppression of religious rights of other communities. Mafeli Hlawndo's speech on 13th of September give us a very clear idea



3) Such secessionist ideas are mostly raised by politicians, community leaders and so-called intellectuals with strong foreign connections. Kuki-Chin-Mizo language speakers habe launched at least 10 major attacks against non-Christian communities with the intention of occupying their lands since 1990 in Assam, Tripura, Manipur and Mizoram.

4) Organisations like the Kuki National Organisation (KNO) and Zo Reunification Organisations (ZORO) were both established in 1988, while the sole purpose of carving out independent territories including parts of Bharat, Myanmar and Bangladesh.

The ZORO General Secretary had threatened the Bharatiya Government on 17th May saying :

"If the Centre continues to fence the border and ditch the FMR, the youths will have no other alternative but to take up arms again".
Such a statement is a blatant violation of the "Mizo Peace Accord".

5) Muan Tombing the general secretary of ITLF had issued a statement on 15th November, 2023 threatening to set up their own government.

The ITLF had issued an official statement threatening S.P. Shivanand Surve and D.C. S. Dharan Kumar for taking action against Head Constable Siamlal Paul who was found to be present in the trenches with so-called armed miscreants.

Rioters attacking Government Property, destroying Government Data and disrespecting the national flag were eulogised as martyrs and heroes.
