No matter what the outcome of this game is... I've now seen enough about that offense versus this defense that tells me who the better team is when they're whole.

It took four Critical Errors to spot them 17 points toward their 20.

And the stats: pedestrian.

Just my thoughts. And that short TD toss doesn't change my thinking whatsoever.

Hurts had 126 passing yards and no TDs before it ... and it's the middle of the fourth quarter.

I mean if you wanna crown them, crown them, but they are who I think (and said) they are/were. 🔬

✭ A thread. ✭

Based on discussions I’ve had w/ sources keyed into the team’s thought process and others with knowledge of the talks, this is my understanding of the latest re: #Cowboys dialogue w/ Dak Prescott...

Including echoes of my own previous reports on the situation: The team never wanted to invoke the franchise tag, and still don’t, but will as a placeholder if need be — giving them until mid-July to work out an extension with the franchise QB.

One sticking point is the team wants a longer termed deal beyond four or five years.. (cont.)

I'll say this about Gregory, the guy is literally week-to-week, day-to-day even, for the entire season. Imagine having to walk on eggshells...for an entire half-year or more (over weed).

Now do that while also trying to stay focused on prep. Now do both while being bipolar. So yes, Gregory was correct. The NFL's policy/approach to mental health is "trash". You have an insane amount of pressure on someone who is clinically diagnosed with bipolar depression.

How's that not setting him up to fail?

Not saying he will, but this is a serious troll job.
