A handful of predictions for the week ahead from a former lobby hack:
1. We will talk endlessly about speeches “on the steps of Downing Street”
Someone will snark that there’s only one step (and a threshold) and the speeches usually come from a lectern in the street. 2. A) We will all use flight tracker to watch Johnson and Truss/Sunak make their way to Scotland and back.
B) While we are doing this, literally anything could be happening outside the window.

BORIS JOHNSON’S CONSERVATIVE PARTY - EXIT WITH A DEAL
Johnson is campaigning in favour of Brexit. He wants to implement the exit agreement he agreed with the EU as soon as possible, before going on to negotiate a long-term, free-trade agreement with the bloc next year.
