While researching some information on DEI I stumbled across some congressional hearing testimony in which a Republican member of Congress (@RepTimmons) praises his efforts to advance DEI in Congress and makes several comments that, if acted upon, would constitute a violation of civil rights laws and labor practices.

First up, Rep. Timmons brags about his efforts to make a DEI office in Congress permanent. Next we have @RepTimmons brags that he has promoted the use of federal tax dollars to prioritize hiring and recruitment on the basis of skin color. If true, this is an admission to a violation of federal law. Skin color cannot be a basis of hiring decisions in federal employment.

The left is claiming that 87,000 IRS agents is a made up conspiracy theory. However, a Treasury report from 2021 laid out how $80 billion would be spent to expand the IRS.

15% annual growth in personnel from current 80,000 agents every year for 10 years. (1/x) It says growth, meaning increase in size even factoring in attrition and retirements.

If we ignore compounding growth it’s still 120,000 new employees. (2/x)
