A thread of some of my favorite pieces from JC Leyendecker, one of the most prolific and talented illustrators of the 20th century. Image The first thing many notice, correctly, is a stylistic resemblance to Norman Rockwell. Leyendecker, 20 years his senior, was a major influence on Rockwell; and they were good friends.
