Think about why we are here, the mess is how it is, and what that means:

It means too much goes to the top. Keeping large numbers of humans happy means making sure they have good reason.

It means they need the basics, and it means they should get them, barring some crime, or other.

A home.

Living wages.

Health care.

Education.

And when they play ball, they get some wants met, or freedom to take a risk, better themselves, maybe all of us.

This is fair.

First, when using electronics, we are expressing our intent by proxy. Works like this:

Imagine a room with a person in it. No oversight possible.

You approach, express your vote, they affirm it, and you walk away. They do whatever they want.

But, it's not enough. We are not big enough. If we were, maybe Bernie politicking would be enough. No judgement. He's gifting us YUGE.

AOC got into office. Unlike Bernie, she does not yet have a well established, enduring base of power. Nor does she have decades of record to stand on.
