Got in a fight with my favorite colleague over my zero tolerance risk lifestyle. They told me they think I’m delusional. I asked how many studies they read: “0, I just live my life and I’m fine.” I said okay, since you aren’t informed, your opinion doesn’t matter to me on this. This offended them. “What, do you think you’re smarter than me? That’s so condescending.” Me, “No, I am not smarter than you but I’m definitely more informed on this subject. How can you tell me I’m delusional about a subject you know little to nothing about?” Awkward silence.
