Sanctions do work diplomatically. The U.S. and it’s partners have targeted Russia’s primary revenue drivers & access to defense materials, asymmetrically inflicting harm while minimizing unintended spillovers. While Russia has resources to maintain its war short-term, its leaders face painful tradeoffs that will sacrifice long-term prospects. The econ is reorienting away from private consumption/towards 40% increase in defense spend. Russians face long-term decline in living standards.

🚨Ad Alert: The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) is a think tank that, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), has "been part of a broad-based & well-planned effort to attack immigration in all forms" even though it now seeks, and attained, more mainstream creds. CIS states that its vision of America is "pro-immigrant, low-immigration," seeking "fewer immigrants but a warmer welcome for those admitted." But according to the SPLC, "the reality is that CIS has never found any aspect of immigration that it liked."

Reality of the “parents’ rights” movement is that it is meant to empower a conservative & reactionary minority of parents to dictate education & curriculums to the rest of the community.
