Addressing ADHD:
Throughout my life, I have struggled immensely with focus and giving attention to work. Distraction has been my biggest enemy and still continues to do so.
Emails take 10 mins to send but getting the willpower to send it may take hours. My procrastination has earned ‘chronic’ status cause no matter how much I put off doing my work last minute, I always get it done perfectly. I meet deadlines but only at the price of increased stress

1. HR is not your friend. Please refrain from speaking anything personal to your HRs. The same applies with other employees but stay slightly warned with your HRs.
Do not share your family background, how much you used to make, personal issues within family that’s stressing you out. Anything can be used against you. Or anything can be used to mess against your promotion, if you’re eligible for one.

Pei story.
My househelp akka was alone at our house and she was making lunch for my anna who was about to be home in 30-35 mins.
She was in the kitchen, when she heard the bell. She loudly shouted “open the door thambi, I’m in kitchen” as she was busy cooking
She heard the door creak open & close after a second and heard my anna’s voice go “I have come home ka. Slightly hungry”. She only heard his voice and didn’t see his face. She finished cooking, switches off the stove and walks towards his bedroom to ask him to wash his hands.
