Talking with our local council here in Germany about what (else) we need to do in case of no-deal Brexit, learned that chances are that the German government will have to give out “Aufenthaltsgenehmigungen”, permission to reside. Tentative... Tentative enquiries from British consulate about the 116000 or so Brits in Germany and their employment status and whatnot to help work out who left I presume (if only they had a citizen register or some sort... 🙄).
