I live just outside a little town of 1100-odd people. As of this morning, around 130 ppl have tested positive for Covid - that's just over 10% of the town's population. The local happy clapper church pastor told his flock NOT to get vaxxed because Jesus would protect them (more)

Reasons to vote Labor (in no particular order)
1. A Federal ICAC - and who among us does not want to see Sqomo have Engandine V2.0 when that comes about?
2. the scrapping of INDUE. 3. taking on Uluru Statement IN FULL including Indigenous Voice to Parliament in Constitution.
4. Climate Policy that actually includes the training, job creation and manufacturing programs that will help industries and communities and workers transition - not just targets but actionable, practical measures that get us there.

Because one in five Australians rent - and guess what, there's zero incentive for landlords to put solar on a rental. Why would they? Unless they could sell the power to the tenants of course, but that's proving problematic. But also, because our homes are 'glorified tents'...

There's a new appreciation for local places and community, for making stuff rather than buying it, for giving things to people who might use them instead of throwing them away. That's all part of lowering carbon footprints.
