When the @DeptVetAffairs decides that you no longer rate caregiver support because you went to visit family for your birthday... with someone who is a certified caregiver. Because apparently that means I'm suddenly not incredibly disabled and need help anymore.
And I'm being told that I don't need a lot of help because I am able to spend roughly 8 hours a day, alone. Yeah, that alone time made my arms suddenly grow back, I can hear again, I have no more knee/shoulder/back issues stemming from my lack of elbows, and my memory is back.

Ladies and gentlemen, THIS is why you keep receipts. THIS is why you don't blindly trust others. Because when they try to destroy you, evidence will be the ONLY thing to save you. In the court of opinion, you're already guilty.
I've had several friends falsely accused of sexual harassment/assault. Some because women pushed themselves on men and were rejected. So they turned around and tried to accuse the guy. The only thing that saced them was proof that they didn't do it.

I'm angry about a lot right now. I wish I could say there's a bright side. I wish my normal positive outlook was enough to quell my anger. I'm angry at the senseless killing of men and women with no justice. I'm angry at the "righteous vengeance" that kills innocent people...
I'm angry that after seeing the damage done to countless cultures, because we treat them as somehow lesser, and paint each in its own shitty broad brush; we've still learned nothing and continue to do it...

We just got out of Joker, and I'm going to say this:
If you walked out because it was "too dark", you are part of the problem. Go, and I can't stress this enough, fuck yourself. Joker was a very real, HONEST, discussion about mental illness. (1/?)
Give the movie any other title and it was the story of what happens when WE LET people, neighbors, our fellow man, "fall through the cracks". But instead, because an "incell" committed a mass shooting in a theater showing a Batman film, people have chosen to reject it. (2/?)
