In violation of the family planning policy, you gave birth to your first child in April 1990 without an official permit. Based on the policy, you must pay the pregnancy fee and the penalty for violating the law. Total is ¥1080. You have 15 days to appeal.

In Mao’s China women were told that there was no difference btw them & men. We were taught to dress & act like men. During the Cultural Revolution the first killing by the Red Guards were committed by young girls. We were to prove that we could outdo men in anything.

In today’s… twitter.com/i/web/status/1… Image Mao wrote a poem praising women with “toxic” masculinity: Chinese women prefer carrying guns than wearing makeup. It was made into a popular song.
We grew up singing this song as part of our indoctrination.
